She reigned supreme with 582 points which added to the 9,851 points the General Service Unit Team amassed to retain the National Police Police Service rifle shooting championships title. The victory earned her a promotion from Constable to the rank of Corporal and she attributed her success to hard work and discipline.

The men's category of the championships was won by Sergeant Rashfold Mutegi from the Anti-Stock Theft Unit which saw him get elevated to the rank of Senior Sergeant.
