KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE RANGERS
Kenya Wildlife Service Rangers are highly trained Paramilitary Officers from the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) which manages and conserves Wildlife in Kenya. KWS Rangers are hardened as they operate in very harsh conditions and they conduct security operations in areas where wild game live such as parks & reserves so as to protect them from poachers.

KENYA'S ELITE INTER-AGENCY ANTI-POACHING UNIT
This is a special security unit recently formed by the Government to reinforce the fight against poaching of Kenya's Wildlife. It is under the command of the Kenya Wildlife Service and is made up of Commandos drawn from Kenya Wildlife Service Rangers, Administration Police & General Service Unit and are deployed in poaching hotspot areas.

KENYA FOREST SERVICE RANGERS
These are Paramilitary Forest Rangers from the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) which conserves, develops and manages forests in Kenya. KFS Rangers conduct security operations in forests through-out Kenya and protect them e.g from illegal logging. 

KENYA POLICE ANTI-STOCK THEFT UNIT
In Kenya, cattle rustling is a serious threat to internal security and it has been prevalent for very many years especially among Pastoralist tribes. The Anti-Stock Theft Unit is a paramilitary wing of the Kenya Police Service created to combat cattle rustlers and curb theft of cattle.

ADMINISTRATION POLICE SERVICE (AP)
The Administration Police is a 47 000 strong paramilitary police force belonging to the Government of Kenya. It's fully equipped to deal with any eventuality regarding law breaking or emergency and is also capable of being deployed in the event of war. The AP is also tasked with assisting Government officials in executing their duties.

GENERAL SERVICE UNIT (GSU)
The General Service Unit is a paramilitary wing of the Kenya Police Service. It has around 9 000 highly trained Police Officers & Special Forces Soldiers capable of being deployed in the event of war. The GSU is an operational force not intended for use on duties of a permanent static nature which deals with situations affecting internal security throughout Kenya and is also primarily a reserve force that deals with special operations and civil disorders.

RAPID DEPLOYMENT UNIT (RDU)
The Rapid Deployment Unit also known as "Radi" in Swahili which means lightening is an emergency response unit belonging to the Administration Police. The RDU which is an equivalent of the GSU can be deployed within a short duration to any part of Kenya to respond to any emergency or threat to law and order. Officers from RDU are highly trained Commandos who even receive additional tactical training from the US Marines.

GENERAL SERVICE UNIT RECCE COMPANY
This is an elite unit of the General Service Unit with around 2000 Special Forces Soldiers highly trained locally and even abroad in highly regarded military training facilities. They form most of the Presidential Guard, VIP & Diplomatic Protection. They are mostly called upon to reinforce in security operations and are always on standby to be deployed in case of emergencies.
